So what is my Simple Pleasure today…..Flannel Sheets, yep you heard me right. When the weather gets cooler, I’m digging in my linen closet…..
With the cooler evenings and mornings it is the perfect time to break out the flannel sheets. To me, nothing says comfort like flannel sheets (except maybe flannel jammies). Now is the time for me to get my bed cozy and soft for the winter nights. Maybe even use a little linen spray of lavender to make sliding between the sheets irresistible.
I,also love the printed ones with all the holiday images. I have a couple of sets that I love to use during the holidays. How fun are these?, with the little trees, and my little snowflake ones.

I'm with you on this one! I love my warm cuddly flannel sheets as the weather turns cooler. They are such a simple thing - but such a sweet pleasure to crawl in!

My husband is a flannel sheet freak. He wants them on the bed until I can't stand it anymore and put my foot down for a few months.
ReplyDeleteHe's just about to get his beloved flannels back so I can totally relate to this simple pleasure.
Because IN DUE SEASON, I'm right there with him loving them!
How pretty are those printed ones!!
Nothing says comfort much more than flannel. What a wonderful simple pleasure!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree! We're a couple of months away from flannel sheets, but I cannot wait until the time comes! They are soooooo comfy (and comforting!). The problem then is that I don't *ever* want to get out of bed!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a blessed day!
Well, as a Florida gal currently living in the mountain West, I definitely don't do cold. I don't have flannel sheets, but usually from October through May, I put a really soft fuzzy blanket over top of my sheets. I definitely don't want to lie on cold sheets!!! So, I lie on one warm blanket and cover up with another one.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you,
Patti
I love those first crisp autumn nights for this very reason...it's time to switch over to the flannel sheets! What a colorful assortment you have -- I'd have a smile on my face while making the bed each morning if my sheets were that cheerful!
ReplyDeleteFlannel sheets remind me of being a little girl. We always had them in the winter. Now we use duvets year round and no top sheets. I miss those flannel sheets though!
ReplyDeleteI live where it is very mild year round. I do remember staying with my grandma when I was little and sleeping in her warm and cozy feather bed. Thank you for the visit today. I really enjoy your blog. Sweet Dreams

I do love flannel sheets. We are a few months away from being able to use them - sometimes our winters are so mild that we can't use them.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the triplicate comments. :)
ReplyDeleteWe've never had flannel sheets. Never thought of getting them. It does sound cozy and inviting.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of your sheets! I have never used flannel before. I would love some linen spray. Not sure why I have never picked some up as I see it a lot.
ReplyDeleteMy simple pleasure is a new knitted wash cloth and specialty soap for my shower.
