Good Morning, I am sitting here this morning at the office. Bright and early, ( I like to come in around 6:30 so that I have my quiet time and coffee with NO distractions. It just might be my favorite time of the day. Who am I kidding, IT IS MY FAVORITE TIME OF THE DAY. I love reading God's word and by HIS grace I try to live out his word in my day to day life. It's never easy because life is full of "messes". I often ponder where I would be today with God's grace and love for me. Such a scary thought.
One thing that I am really excited about is the screened in porch at the new(old) house. I can see my mornings sipping my coffee with my bible and notebook, looking our over the fields in the back of the house during the summer months, and cuddled up cozy by the fireplace during the winter months.

ReplyDeleteHi Cindy! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I was only able to read your comment this afternoon because I upgraded my Wordpress and it broke my theme. I had to wait for a fix! I love your screened in porch! I really would love to do that to my patio.It would be an awesome place to have my quiet time. I nd to get back having my quiet time early in the morning because if I don't do it first thing, it likely won't get done--especially now that I'm back in school. I'd love to have you keep me accountable if you think of it. :)

Hi Cindy, so nice to hear from youYour home is beautiful, you are going to really love the screened in porch. Dh and I start each day on our front porch with coffee and devotion and the evening is ended on the back screened porch with coffee.
ReplyDeleteIn the morning after dh leaves, and a few chores are done , I slip to the back porch to spend some alone time with the Lord, this is my most treasured time of day.
So glad to see you posting here, I have been so lax in blogging this summer as we have been so busy, but for now things seem to be slowing down, and that is a "good thing".
I can so relate to those "messes of life".
