Imagine my surprise

When I opened up my Windows Live Writer this morning since my update.  WOW, does things look different here.  This might take me a little bit to get use to it.  Do you use Window’s Live Writer for your blog post?  I do and have for several years now and I absolutely love it.  It is the one tool I can’t stand to be without when creating blog post.

It’s already Wednesday and this week is flying by.  Today I am staying home and trying to catch up on some “house duties”.  I have really been bad the last couple of days and it’s time to get back on my schedule.  Yesterday I took the day and met up with a friend that I haven’t seen for at least 15 years. 

We met years ago when I was living in Germany.  We had sons about the same age and they played ball together.  This was her first time overseas and it was a joy showing her the ropes so to speak.  Our families became good friends, and spent many hours together. 

She and I shared the love of God and enjoyed bible study together and numerous church functions.  Yesterday, while sharing lunch we picked up right where we left off.  After many changes in our lives over the years, our friendship still remains and is real. 

I really need to start my day, I hope you will stop by tomorrow as I will be sharing my “Simple Pleasures and Thankful Thursday” post.

Odds and Ends

Hi ya'll. Just popping in to say hello and let you know that I am still alive. Today was a rough day for me. I have had a hard time staying focused and awake. All I have wanted to do today was sleep. Ugh! I hate days like that because I am not very productive. And believe me, I need to be productive now.

Today did bring some good news though, Michael and I waited about getting our passports, mainly because of time allowance....but we did go and apply for them last week. Guess what, they came today. Now that was fast!

Michael's wedding band got here last week. I just love it. Can't wait to give it to him. It will be funny in some ways seeing him in it because he doesn't wear jewelry. So I wanted to get something that wasn't huge but had some bling just the same. He told me this is the first time he has ever had diamonds.

Ladies, I can't tell you how much I feel out of touch with things. I have so much that I want/need to do to update and share on my blog but just don't have the time. I really am missing it. I have a small treasure of some new sites that I would like feature....but all in due time.

Well it is way past my bedtime, but took a nap today so not really sleepy now, but I know 4 AM will come early. So I will bid you a good night. Hope you all have a blessed Tuesday!

Testing out Live Writer

Hi everybody...I am playing around with the new install of Live Writer that Pam says she uses, thought with trying to do updates the three blogs eventually this might help. Hopefully I will figure out all this stuff. Since this isn't a real post, make sure you check out the one I did last night. Hopefully I will get back here soon.
